What is the best and cheapest Internet service just to have wifi for iPod?

I have a desktop but don’t really need to use it. My pc is pretty old, and all I’m looking for is a way to get Wifi for my iPod touch. And does the fact that my pc has low memory and moves slow when it does have Internet effect the iPod touch if I get the cheapest speed Internet?

Internet services don’t necessarily affect the wifi ability, it’s the equipment they or you supply to the computer that does, like a wireless all in one modem and or a modem and a router. Low memory on your computer should not affect wifi ability either.

The cheapest internet is dial up internet, like Net-zero or earth-link for example, the next cheapest is usually the lowest DSL speed via your phone company, this will vary depending on your area too.
